I'm not a football fan. But it's hard not to get swept away in the nostalgia and excitement of repeating 1966. I will watch the England games, wave my flag and cheer ENGLAND
I live football even though my team have not won anything for nearly 50 years. We sell our best players and lose games we really should win. It's predictable unpredictable
Way to many opportunities and adventures for me and my family to experience to be sat glued to the TV watching grown men chase a ball. Would rather play ball with my kids on a beach!
I love Football as a male with a wife and 2 teenage kids, driving me up the wall at times, on a Saturday I have a magic trick all I need to say is footballs on this afternoon and as if by magic my wife and teenage daughter say oh no (as they hate football) were not watching footfall were going shopping. So you see House to myself so I Don't just love football its magic
#hatefootball I've never particularly liked football but now that players can earn such stupidly astronomical sums and the whole thing has become so commercial I positively loathe it.
#hatefootball There are lots of other better sports out there that never get the coverage. Not all men like football, some of us prfer to spend time with our families having fun and not sitting round a TV drinking beer, watching overpaid primadonnas. There is more to life #hatefootball
I #hatefootball because it seems to take over everything. It is after all only a game but every programme bombards us with it and other programmes are taken off air for football
#lovefootball I am one of the chosen ones, an Everton supporter. Born not manufactured! Without my regular football top-up my life would be very dull and flat. It's as important as the air I breath.
I love football because it makes people come together and forget everyday things and can if you get the result make people happy!!! Love Football...come on England
I was going to avoid this World Cup with the season we've had at Villa I really don't need any more pain. However it's unavoidable and for an armchair fan it's easy to be sucked in by the commentating. I shout at the commentators their excruciatingly bad use of English and their Americanisms whilst they make up yet more expressions (usually less well placed than the ball) and new words to destroy what's left of the English language. All good fun though with the champions out and rebuilt teams from Germany,Holland and France I'll be glued to the box till the last match...I hate it!
I #lovefootball because my friends grandad bought him a Brazil football team of 70s VHS and we tried to recreate those moments and fell in love with the game
#hatefootball. as a nurse i get pooped on urinated on vomited on verbally and physically assaulted. all in the name of caring for the patient and there families. for 21 thousand a year. while they get paid hundreds of thousands for chasing a ball round a park and showing off their abs and kissing each other when they score a goal
#lovefootball the sound of the cheers and beer's clinking and crowds clapping. striking and pushing to place a goal into the net of dreams. A way of getting the UK together and placing all the happiness of success down the line and striving for the Winning cup.
Played the proper way (ie sporting) it can provide great entertainment and drama, and a fantastic atmosphere whoever you are watching it with. Also it is only a game and meant to be played for fun at whatever level!!
