Check in was easy and the receptionist was lovely, and so was the manager. The room was light, spacious and had everything we needed for the night...The seating area was very country pub like and I found the outside space very peaceful. 

The curtains in the room were black out which we found fab and the bed I found so comfy which is rare for me in hotels. We had a lovely, welcoming stay...would stay here again!

I don't like doing reviews, but this time will be a great pleasure. Nice place, welcoming and relaxing, all very satisfying, but what satisfied me most was finding excellent dishes and not just the usual sea bream, fish haddock, chicken or sirloin.

We visited this restaurant, with much trepidation after reading the reviews...but honestly the food ranked up there with the best! From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and looked after, we weren't hurried, we sat and had a drink in the bar and were shown to our table when ready. The staff were very professional and attentive but not overly.
