WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

We dream of developing the horticulture sector in East-Africa.
A well-developed horticulture sector will lead to an increase in  food production, food safety and a more efficient  use of natural resources. 
We believe that a commercial approach of horticulture is one of the most sustainable  approaches to this development.
That is why we are a local company, based and registrated in Rwanda.
We are realizing our dream by offering an integrated portfolio  of products and services that use the Dutch knowledge, skills and technology.

Improved seeds

We are official supplier of RijkZwaan seeds in Rwanda. Improved seeds gives higher yield and play an important role in healthy nutrition.

Nutritients and soil improvement

Growing your seeds starts with a good soil. Next to fertilizers, it often needs  essential micro and macro nutrients. We have several solutions to improve the growth of your crop, like Cropmax of Holland Farming .

Irrigation solutions

Irrigation is necessary to increase the crop per drop. Our products covers the range from  smallholder farmers to large greenhouses with advanced climate computers and software of Hoogendoorn Growth Management.

Biological pest control

We are official supplier of Koppert Biological Pest control.  Nature-based solutions helps to lower pressure form pest and diseases. 

Greenhouses

A greenhouse can be one of the most efficient way to grow.  With our Dutch partners like Bosman Van Zaal we can provide from high-tech to middle-tech greenhouses, and we are working on a low-tech version.

Training

To ensure success, we put a lot of attention to proper training. It comes with our products, but can contact us if you need a trainer.

INTERNATIONAL 
WATER WEEK
During the Water Week, held at 22th and 23rd of March, Holland Greentech was present at the exhibition. 
Agriculture is a major user of water, and more efficient use of it can prevent future conflicts.
 
Besides Dutch horticulture companies like RijkZwaan, Hoogendoorn, Bosman van Zaal, and Koppert we also represented the VIA Water programm and the TAHMO Weather stations.
 
SMART Greenhouse
Together with partners like Bosman Van
   Zaal, Hoogendoorn, Koppert Biological Systems, RijkZwaan, and knowledge institutes
   such as Wageningen University and Reseach Centre, TNO and Bopinc (NGO), Holland
   Greentech build a greenhouse in Rulindo. It’s the first of its kind in Rwanda
   with improved technologies for inputs including seeds, soil pest control,
   irrigation, and computerized watermanagement and fertilization. Also the
  greenhouse is the first of its kind in Rwanda and adapted to the Rwandan growing
